Football Festival at Ravenscraig


A total of 210 children participated in a football festival at Ravenscraig Regional Sports Facility on Sunday.

The youngsters, from eight NL Leisure venues  Airdrie Leisure Centre, Ravenscraig Regional Sports Facility, Shotts Leisure Centre, St. Ambrose High, Kirkwood Sports Barn, Broadwood Leisure Centre, Iain Nicholson Centre and Birkenshaw Sports Barn.

The festival, which was the first of its kind at Ravenscraig, was non-competitive but each child who participated was considered to be a winner and received a gold medal at the end of their activity.
