KICKSTART UNITED WIN 5 OUT OF 5 GAMES TO GO TOP OF THE SCOTTISH FA MENTAL HEALTH & WELL BEING LEAGUE TABLE
We are delighted to announce that our very own team Kickstart United football team have gone top of the Scottish FA Mental Health & Well Being League table with a clean sweep, on day one of the league fixtures.
The first of the league fixtures kicked off on Tuesday 31st August at Broadwood Stadium, where Kickstart United won 5 out of 5 games to go top of the table.
Our very own team were also presented with the league trophy which they won pre COVID and are ecstatic that they can play again in a competitive nature.

What is Kickstart?
Kickstart is a weekly football coaching session with a Scottish FA Qualified Coach for Integrated Addiction Services with joint access for mental health services.
This amazing programme is open to male and females 16years + and is currently being delivered in Airdrie, Cumbernauld (in partnership with Clyde FC in the community), Wishaw, Coatbridge, Motherwell and Bellshill.
What is the The Scottish FA Mental Health and Wellbeing League?
The Scottish FA Mental Health and Wellbeing League was set up in order to provide a support structure for those affected by mental health-related issues.
Who are the Teams?
The Central/East Region League is made up of the below teams, who will meet each month and will play against each other at different venues across Scotland.
