Tryst Refurbishment!

NLL Latest News

As part of our ongoing commitment to improving facilities across NLL, we are excited to inform our members that the Tryst Sports Centre will be undergoing extensive refurbishment in the forthcoming weeks. The scheduled works will commence on Monday 26th November with limited disruptions across the venue. From this date, access to the venue will be via an alternative entrance located near to the rear car park.

A list of disruptions can be found below:

Gym – Open throughout the works with access from 26th November via an alternative entrance.

Fitness Classes – On Thursday 29th & Friday 30th November fitness classes will be moved to the main sports hall. This is to allow for refurbishment works to take place in the class studios. Fitness classes are now taking place in the studios once again.

Cafe - The Tryst Cafe will be closed on Monday 17th & Tuesday 18th December to allow for refurbishment works to take place, we apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Health Suite - On Tuesday 27th & Wednesday 28th November the Health Suite will be closed for refurbishment. The health suite has now reopened following refurbishment.

Swimming Pool – Pool areas will remain open throughout the works, with access via an alternative entrance.

Sports Hall – The sports hall will be closed to the public from 26th November, reopening in the New Year after refurbishment works have concluded. This includes the Squash courts.

Lift - Throughout the refurbishment works the lift within the venue will be out of operation. This will impact access to the ground floor with the stairs being the alternative access route available for use. Wheel chair access can be provided on request through an alternative route. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Cafe - On Monday 10th & Tuesday 11th December the cafe will shut due to the refurbishment works taking place at the venue. It is anticipated that the cafe will reopen on Wednesday 12th at 9.30am. The balcony will also be closed during these works.

Saturday Morning Football Classes - Saturday morning Football classes at the Tryst (3-5 years class & ASN Football Centre) will be temporarily relocated to Broadwood during the Tryst refurbishment works. Classes will take place at the normal time and will return to the Tryst once refurbishment works have concluded.

Whilst we understand that the refurbishment period will cause some inconvenience, please rest assured that we are confident you will love the finished product when the refurbishment works conclude.

A list of the works being carried out during the closure include revamping the reception area, improving the fitness studios, sports hall, squash courts and more. This is on top of the improved gym area and new spin studio that was installed in July of this year.

These refurbishment works are part of an ambitious programme which will see significant investment in several of our venues in the coming months.

We will be sure to issue further updates on upcoming refurbishment works in the near future.
