NLL Legend - Gillian Radigan
Our NLL Legend for the month of October is Gillian Radigan.
Gillian is a true warrior far surpassing her personal weight loss goal, which she is still dedicating herself to three years down the line.
Gillian’s weight loss journey has been nothing short of incredible and she inspires us all with her dedication and strength. A well-deserved NLL Legend for the month of October.

How long have you been a member of NL Leisure?
I'm sure it will be 3 years come January.
What venue do you attend?
Ravenscraig and occasionally Aquatec.
What motivated you to sign up for a membership with NL Leisure?
The thought of becoming fitter and healthier.
What do you utilise on your membership? Gym? Swimming? Fitness classes?
Fitness classes and the gym.
Did you have a goal when signing up for our membership? Have you reached this goal?
When I started I decided to give myself 2 years to lose 8 stone and I would have been happy getting to a size 16 as I was a size 28. However, once I reached that goal I felt really good and confident enough to carry on and nearly 3 years later I'm a size12.
How much weight have you lost?
I've lost almost 11 stone.
Do you have any advice for someone thinking of signing up to an NL Leisure membership?
Yes go for it! It is daunting thinking about walking into a class or the gym, but it is honestly the best feeling when you have completed that class or gym session!
Any comments you would like to add?
The staff, from receptionists to the instructors are fantastic. They are really friendly and welcoming! Personally for me I would like to thank staff who have been with me throughout my journey; Thomas, Steven, Meghan, Carol, Laura and Shelly as well as staff who have moved!
I have thoroughly enjoyed trying nearly all the classes but my favourites are kettle bells, super circuits, LBT, body attack and body combat.
