NLL Legend - Peter Nolan
NLL Legend – Peter Nolan
Peter Nolan, an NL Leisure member who trains at Wishaw Sports Centre recently competed in the British National Bodybuilding Federation and took home first prize becoming the Lightweight Champion of Scotland!
You can read about Peter’s achievements below:
1. Tell us a bit about yourself?
My names Peter, I’m 33 years old, I work as a firefighter and I’m also a part-time gym instructor.
2. How long have you been training & competing for?
I have been training for around 15 years now, mostly at Wishaw Sports Centre. I started competing 3 years ago and it’s something that I’ve really enjoyed doing.
3. Tell us about the competition that you took part in, what place you came etc.
I was competing in the BNBF (British National Bodybuilding Federation) which is a natural drug tested bodybuilding competition. This was my third year competing in the competition. This year I won my class, becoming the Scottish Lightweight Competition.
4. Future plans for competing?
I love competing, it’s a long hard process of training extremely hard and being strict with your diet. However though, it’s definitely worth it when you’re on stage.
I plan to keep on competing in the future as well!
All of us here at NL Leisure would like to say a huge well done to Peter on his excellent achievement and would like to wish him all the best in future competitions.
