Kilsyth Pool & Shotts Leisure Centre Refurbishment

NLL Latest News

As part of our ongoing commitment to improving facilities across NLL, we are excited to inform our members that Shotts Leisure Centre & Kilsyth Swimming Pool will be undergoing extensive refurbishment in the forthcoming weeks. From January 2019 both venues will undergo a temporary closure, with both anticipated to reopen in April 2019. A temporary closure is necessary to ensure that the refurbishment works can be completed in a timely manner.

These works will see over £430,000 invested in the venues, and will ensure that we can continue to deliver a high quality of service to our members.

A list of the works being carried out at each venue can be found below:

Shotts

  • Reception refurbishment
  • Swimming pool improvements
  • New interactive children’s play area
  • General maintenance and improvements works

Kilsyth

  • Reception refurbishment
  • Swimming pool improvements
  • Health Suite improvements
  • Changing Village improvements
  • General maintenance and improvements works

These refurbishment works are part of our Capital Programme which will see NLL invest over £3.2 million improving facilities across our venues and we will be sure to keep our members updated on all works that will be taking place in the near future.

Whilst we understand that the refurbishment period will cause some inconvenience, please rest assured that we are confident you will love the finished product when the venues fully reopen in April 2019.

Should you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact our membership team on 01236 341969 Monday - Thursday 8.15am - 5.30pm & Friday 8.45am - 4.15pm who will be happy to assist.
