£9.94 to £12.85 per hour
Based in the below venues, you will be responsible for the safety and conduct of customers in the gym, carry out induction training for new users, keep all required records and keep the area clean and tidy.
A Gym Instructor Level 2 certificate from a recognised REPS accredited governing body and experience of working in a gym environment are essential. A First Aid certificate is desirable.
A pleasant manner, good physical fitness and excellent communication skills are of prime importance.
As a requirement of these posts, the successful candidates must obtain Protection of Vulnerable Group (PVG) membership through Disclosure Scotland. If the successful candidates are currently a PVG Scheme member the cost of a "Scheme Update" is £18. If the successful candidates are not a PVG Scheme member the cost for PVG membership is £59.
Post 1 – Tryst Sports Centre, Cumbernauld (22.5 hours)(Fixed Term) NLL 3/19
Post 2 – Airdrie Leisure Centre (12 hours) NLL 4/19
Pattern of hours:
Post 1 - You will be required to work flexibly over 7 days.
Post 2 - You will be required to work flexibly over 7 days, however, this will be predominantly working at weekends.
Post 1 is fixed term for a period up to October 2019
