Subscriptions Administrative Officer (Fixed Term) (Re-Ad)*                 NLL 06/19

£9.75 - £12.02 per hour

You will work as part of a team to ensure the efficient and effective performance of the Subscription section. You will provide excellent customer service dealing direct and on the telephone with customers using product knowledge to provide a suitable solution to ensure customer membership, sales and retention. As part of this role you will be required to deal with all aspects of membership payments including outstanding debts sensitively and effectively.

You will be innovative, have excellent inter-personal and communication skills which will give you the ability to promote current marketing campaigns in order to deliver a quality service to our customers across the entire range of NLL’s product and services.

You will have a minimum of three standard grades or equivalent, one of which will include English or Maths. You will be a confident communicator, with good organisational skills with the ability to use your own initiative. You will also have moderate administration experience. Previous experience working with Direct Debits and a customer focussed environment is desirable.

Pattern of hours: You will be required to work flexibly over 7 days.

This post is fixed term to cover a period of maternity leave for a minimum of 12 months.

Human Resources Administrative Assistant                                            NLL 31/19

£9.75 - £12.02 per hour

 

Based in Broadwood HQ, this is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to contribute to the success of the organisation as part of a small team providing a dedicated Human Resources service to the company. You will be responsible for the maintenance of all personnel records and will ensure the efficient provision of all administrative /clerical functions required for the effective operation of the service.

Educated to Standard Grade level or equivalent, ideally you will have experience of working in a Human Resources setting, however, this may also be an opportunity for a candidate with significant administrative/clerical skills to gain extensive experience in a busy Human Resources environment. You will be an effective and confident communicator with excellent keyboard skills supported by a sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

You will be capable of working quickly and accurately with minimum supervision, often working to tight timescales and utilising your own initiative. A Certificate in Human Resource Practice or equivalent or working towards this qualification is desirable.

Football Development Officer                                                                     NLL 30/19

£12.62 to £16.55 per hour

You will assist the Sport Development and Participation Manager to coordinate and implement football projects through education establishments, clubs and the wider community within North Lanarkshire. You will promote and develop the national/regional aims and objectives of the Scottish FA and the local aims and objectives of NLL. Working closely with all partners, stakeholders and other internal/external agencies, you will develop partnership working in developing football for all children and young people within the North Lanarkshire area.

A UEFA A or B Licence, Scottish FA Youth Licence or Advanced Children’s Licence with C Licence and significant experience of managing and developing a range of football programmes and services are essential for this post. A sports related degree would be advantageous in this role. In addition, you will have experience of club development football, as well as knowledge of national sporting/physical activity initiatives and strategies. Experience in managing designated budgets and sponsorship programmes, using various media and communication packages allowing you the ability to prepare operational level reports and statistics for senior management, are particularly important for this role.

As a requirement of this post, the successful candidate must obtain Protection of Vulnerable Group (PVG) membership through Disclosure Scotland. If the successful candidate is currently a PVG Scheme member the cost of a "Scheme Update" of £18 is met by NLL Ltd. If the successful candidate is not a PVG Scheme member the fees for PVG membership of £59 is shared - the successful candidate will pay £41 and NLL Ltd will pay £18.

School of Football Programme Coordinator (Fixed Term)                     NLL 29/19      

£12.62 to £16.55 per hour

Based within Braidhurst High School, Motherwell you will assist the management team in the school and North Lanarkshire Leisure’s Sport Development team to manage, coordinate and implement a quality football programme. In partnership with the school, you will offer both boys and girls a tailored football curriculum that improves the health and wellbeing of every participant and will improve each player’s technical ability both individually and in a group environment. You will promote and develop the national/regional aims and objectives of the SFA and the local aims and objectives of NLL. Working closely with all partners, stakeholders and other internal/external agencies, you will develop partnership working that will improve the quality and performance of the coaching team at Braidhurst High School.

A UEFA A or B Licence, Scottish FA Youth Licence or Advanced Children’s Licence with C Licence and significant experience of coaching at an elite academy and developing a range of football programmes and services are essential for this post. A sports related degree would also be advantageous. In addition, you will have experience of managing staff and delivering training, as well as knowledge of national sporting/physical activity initiatives and strategies. Experience in managing designated budgets and experience of performance monitoring and evaluation of projects is essential. You must have the ability to prepare operational level reports and statistics for management, teaching staff and parents.
