Friday & Saturday Night Project
Due to the refurbishment works at the Tryst Sports Centre, we will be relocating the Saturday Night Project to Broadwood Leisure Centre from 6pm – 10pm on the following dates:
Saturday 1st, 8th, 15th and 22nd December.
A free bus will run for young people to attend and will be leaving from Tryst at 6.15pm and returning at 9.45pm approx. each night.
The bus is optional and if not going on it, the young people can turn up to Broadwood from 6pm – 10pm for the Saturday Night Project!
The Friday and Saturday Night Projects provide a fun and safe environment for young people to socialise with friends, play a variety of sports and best of all, it is free of charge. Each week, we also run various sports competitions which will lead to an annual sport event committed to supporting and engaging young people in Sport. This event will run by the young people attending the projects….this is the Year of the Young People, let them be heard! #YOYP18
The Friday Night Project is a free North Lanarkshire Leisure programme encouraging young people aged 9-18 to get involved in sport and physical activity across the region.
The Saturday Night Project is also a free programme open to youths from 9 to 17 years old in four venues, with Shotts Leisure Centre open for 8 to 17 years
The programme runs across nine NL Leisure venues every Friday & Saturday evening between 6pm and 10pm.
Every Friday & Saturday evening our centres are all closed to the public and available for young people in the community to enjoy a range of sporting activities including football, dance, badminton and swimming!
Once a month we also have an Aquarun which is always great fun.
