OVER 50'S & 65'S - WALKING FOOTBALL

 

Age is only a number so get your trainers on and try NL Leisure's over 50's walking football with all the same rules, just no running! Over 50's Walking Football has proved a great success in North Lanarkshire and is a fantastic way to keep in shape and socialise with your friends.

New DD’s Prices (DD is 12-months Per Year)

NLL Members

£7.99 per month for one session per week.

£14.99 per month for multiple sessions per week.

Non Members

£9.99 per month for one session per week.

£17.99 per month for multiple sessions per week.

Over 50’s Walking Football Sessions

Monday - Townhead Community Centre 7pm - 8pm - Outdoor 2g Pitch to the near of the building

Tuesday - Broadwood 12pm – 1pm – Outdoor 3G 11 a side pitch

Thursday - Airdrie Leisure Centre 12pm – 1pm – Outdoor 3G Airdrie Leisure Centre Pitch 1

Due to an increase in our Walking Football programme, we are delighted to announce that we will now be running an Over 50's league and an Over 65's league. Details about the leagues can be found below.

3 League Fixtures Per League Meeting

Join the first ever Walking Football League at Ravenscraig Regional Sports Facility

Cost - £3 per player

Age – 50 +

6 a-side – must bring at least 8 players

Indoor/Outdoor pitches so appropriate clothing and footwear required

Tea/Coffee provided on the day

Full of Beans


Our brilliant FREE programme will run from Monday 24th February 2020


Full of Beans is for those aged 18 months – 5 years and their families. Take part in fun sport sessions whilst learning handy tips on topics such as healthy eating and fussy eaters.

All classes start this week and will run for 6-weeks at the following venues:


- Tryst Sports Centre, Cumbernauld: Monday 12.00pm - 1.00pm

- Sir Matt Busby Centre, Bellshill: Wednesday 11.00am - 12.00pm

- Airdrie Leisure Centre, Airdrie: Wednesday 6.00pm - 7.00pm

- The Time Capsule, Coatbridge: Friday 11:45am - 12.45pm

- GBT Healthy Living Centre, Shotts: Friday 1.30pm - 2.30pm

- New Stevenston Centre, Motherwell: Friday 3.00pm - 4.00pm

Street Soccer

Lace your boots up and get involved in our innovative and exciting Street Soccer programme.

Street Soccer is for 9-16 year olds and encourages young people to improve their health and well-being in their communities through football.

Street Soccer will take place between 7pm - 9pm at the following venues.

 

New sessions Start Tuesday 6th July until Friday 10th September

Youth Workers will be on site providing other activities, chat and support

Friday & Saturday Night Project 

The Friday and Saturday Night Projects provide a fun and safe environment for young people to socialise with friends, play a variety of sports and best of all, it is FREE of charge. Each week, we also run various sports competitions and challenges for the young people.

Every Friday & Saturday evening our centres are closed to the public and available for the young people in the community to to enjoy a range of sporting activities including football, dance, badminton, basketball and swimming!

All you need to do is turn up on the night and if under 16, come with a parent/ guardian to complete a registration form and take part straight away!

All venues run from 6pm - 10pm with the exception of Calder Community Centre which runs from 6pm - 9pm.
