What is it?
The Jog Scotland Walking group is an exciting new walking programme launched by Jog Scotland following the Jog Scotland ethos of making friends and having fun whilst getting healthy at the same time.
Who is it for?
The programme is aimed for all abilities of walkers from complete beginner’s right up to regular walkers aged 16 and over. The programme can be a very beneficial way of gradually increasing your fitness before you give our Jog Scotland Jogging Groups a try. The programme can also be of benefit to injured runners looking to regain some fitness whilst they rehabilitate their injury.
Who do the sessions work?
Over the ten weeks the group will be led by our highly motivated walk leaders who will be with you every step of the way taking you through a structured walk each week. The walks will be structured in a way that you will have a warm up, main component with a variety of walking drills employed and finishing off with a nice cool down. There will be plenty of time whilst out walking to get to know your new walking partners too so you will have made new friends in no time.

Cost: £20 for a 10 week block.
