From toddlers learning the basics of riding a bike to more experienced riders looking to test themselves on one of the best BMX tracks in the country, North Lanarkshire Leisure has the programmes and facilities to fulfil your cycling needs.
‘Balanceablilty’ is a dedicated learn-to-cycle programme, targeted at children aged 6 and under. Through the use of pedal-less bikes, Balanceability eradicates the use of stabilisers and promotes the fundamental skill of cycling, balance. The aim is to introduce youngsters to cycling, dynamic balance and co-ordination, building up to the ability to cycle solo on a pedal bike. All balance bikes, helmets and equipment are provided.
Balanceability classes run at Broadwood with a 6 week block costing £30. The next block starts on the 20th January 2017.
