First Aid at Work 

Minimum Contact Time - 18 hours 

All candidates must be at least 16 years of age at the commencement of the course. No previous first aid experience is required. This comprehensive course will equip candidates with the skills and knowledge required to carry out first aid within the workplace.

This qualification has been approved by the HSE as complying with the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981. Re-assessment required every 3 years – candidates can renew by attendance at a Refresher course (12 hours contact) providing that the qualification is in date. HSE guidance (October 2009) also recommends that all holders of this qualification undertake a Skills Update session on an annual basis (3 hours minimum)
