First Aid at Work Refresher

Holders of a FAAW qualification are required to undertake re-assessment every 3 years.  Candidates can renew by attendance at a Refresher course (12 hours contact) providing that the qualification is in date. HSE guidance (October 2009) also recommends that all holders of this qualification undertake a Skills Update session on an annual basis (3 hours minimum)

First Aid at Work Annual Skills Update

HSE First Aid at Work Regulations (Oct 2009) – Changes to the regulations have been identified on the basis of evidence 'on the severity of first aid skill fade'. The HSE recommend that all 'First Aiders' attend annual refresher training.  This training applies to holders of all First Aid at Work and Emergency First Aid at Work qualifications
