Sir Matt's - Pool Change

Sir Matt Busby swimming pool is due to close on Monday 12 September 2011 for a period of approximately 4 months while the changing rooms and poolside are completely refurbished.

The existing female changing room will be completely revamped with new cubicles, lockers, showers and vanity area giving the area a very much needed facelift. The poolside and pool surrounds will also be re-tiled.

When the facility re-opens on Saturday 14 January 2012 it is hoped that this will now fit in with the standard of changing accommodation you would expect from North Lanarkshire Leisure. It is also our intention during this period to continue with the Level 1 - 4 swimming lessons within the Aquatec and hopefully the 5 – 9 stage lessons will be accommodated within other North Lanarkshire Leisure facilities.
