Airdrie LC - New Facilities

For the last 4 months Airdrie Leisure centre has been undergoing a major renovation of its gyms and fitness studios. All the waiting is now over and the new gym opened on the 25th July.

The existing gym upstairs in the facility will still be available to use and the brand new gym will be adjoined by a new dedicated fitness studio. The new gym will be fitted out with the latest state of the art Technogym equipment, taking the capacity to 150 pieces of equipment. Airdire will be the first gym in Scotland (and only 2nd in the UK) to own kinesis circuit equipment which boasts benefits such as being easier to use than weights and allowing a full range of movement giving a total body workout.

A further new 2 new fitness and cycle fit studios have also been created as part of this exciting project.
