Team GB Medal haul starts to swell...

Clockwise from top left Helen Glover and Heather Stanning, Michael Jamieson, Team GB Rowing  and Kayak Team with Ravenscraig RSF Manager John Swanson and Bradley Wiggins.

So the medals are starting to tot up that bit more for Team GB with some wonderful perfromances yesterday.

First Gold for Team GB came courtesy of Helen Glover and Heather Stanning (from Lossiemouth) who took the medal for their winning performance in the Rowing, womens pair.

Next up was Bradley Wiggings, his year just keeps getting better, taking Gold in Cycling Time Trial.

And lastly but certianly not least is Glasgows own Michael Jamieson who took Silver in the Mens 200m Breaststroke.

Many congratulations to them all and the rest of the Team, we are all proud.

Up today is the Mens rowing, pictured above with John Swanson, manager of Ravenscraig Regional Sports Facility, we think John may have been passing on some of his Rowing tips to the boys!!

Also Chris Hoy and the indoor cycling gets underway today....keeping it all crossed.

Well done also to Andy Murray for progressing in the tennis too, looks like there could be a Gold rainbow on the horizon there......

Let us know what you think........Facebook-icon.png
