Frank Burns

Frank Burns B.Sc. BEng was appointed to the Board in September 2011 as a sport representative.

Frank started his career at Colville’s training centre as an Apprentice Electrical Engineer. After completing his apprenticeship and gaining several years experience, Frank joined S.S.E.B later to become Scottish Power Electricity Company. 

The remainder of Frank’s career was spent with Scottish Power. Following his early retirement, Frank delivered High Voltage training to many companies within the UK and abroad.  During his time with Scottish Power, Frank was given the opportunity to update his qualifications, gaining a B.Sc in Electrical Engineering and thereafter, the status of Chartered Engineer.
