Gym Induction:
This is the first step on your journey in the gym.
It is important that you know how to use all the pieces of CV and Resistance kit on the gym floor and the induction will show you the basics. At your induction you will be asked to complete a medical PARQ ( Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire) – this gives us a chance to assess your current level of fitness and make sure that the machines selected for you to use are appropriate for your current fitness state.
You will get to try out some of the Aerobic (CV) equipment and some of the weights (resistance) equipment
Programme Card:
This is your own specific programme – it will be written in conjunction with your gym instructor who will fit the programme around the reasons why you joined the gym. This card will be reviewed on a 12 weekly basis for you to make sure that you are getting the most out of your workouts.
